PassKey

One of the methods for replacing passwords. It uses asymmetric encryption to allow users to log in without having to remember a password. It is fundamentally more secure than passwords because, since it uses asymmetric encryption, it is difficult to leak.

The safest way to use PassKey is to use it on only one device, rather than across multiple devices. There are tools like 1Password that help you use PassKey across multiple devices, but this weakens the very property that makes PassKey powerful: the fact that it “cannot be copied.”
